When reporting a problem, include the app version from Settings › About, your phone model and system version, and the language you use. For development charts, include the film, developer, dilution and the published source.

Questions

Is the app free?
Yes. Every tool works in the free version with a single banner ad at the bottom of the screen. Pro is a one-time purchase that removes ads permanently and keeps the Sun Tracker unlocked.
How does the Sun Tracker unlock work?
Watching a short rewarded ad opens the Sun Tracker for one hour. If no ad can be served, for example offline in the field, the hour is granted anyway. Pro removes the gate for good.
I bought Pro on another phone. How do I restore it?
Open Settings › Pro Version and tap Restore Purchase while signed in to the same App Store or Google Play account.
Does cloud sync include my photos?
No. iCloud on iOS and Google Drive on Android sync the app database only. The ZIP backup in Settings › Export includes everything, photos included, and can be restored on any device.
Which external cameras work?
USB control is verified with Canon and Fujifilm cameras. Wi-Fi tethering and Bluetooth shutter release are available for Fujifilm. Other brands may connect but are not verified.
Why does the app need iOS 18?
The exposure timer and the development runner show Live Activities in the Dynamic Island and on the lock screen, which require the ActivityKit features of iOS 18.
Is the darkroom theme a safelight?
No. The themes keep the interface dim and in a single colour you choose, down to a wavelength, so the timer is easy to read in a darkroom. A phone screen is not a certified safelight; keep paper covered as you normally would.
Where does my data go?
Nowhere unless you send it. There is no account and no analytics SDK. The only network use is the optional cloud backup, the purchase system and, on the free tier, the ad network described in the privacy policy.
A development time is missing or wrong.
Email the film, developer, dilution, temperature and the published source. Community-verified processes and missing commercial kits are added in updates.
